The Trend Pullback EA is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4. It is designed to trade short-term pullbacks within a broader market trend while automatically adapting risk to account balance and market volatility.
The EA combines several types of technical market information. In simplified terms, it first looks for a clear trend direction and then waits for a short-term pullback. A trade is only allowed when additional confirmation is present.
Position size automatically adapts to the account balance. The selected risk is a percentage of the current account. This allows lot size to grow with a larger account and decrease again after drawdowns.
The percentage settings are configurable. Higher risk increases both potential profit and potential loss. The system does not try to force a fixed euro result by continuously increasing lot size.
Because risk and volatility are calculated dynamically, the EA is not technically limited to one symbol. Potential test markets include:
Actual suitability and performance must be evaluated separately for each symbol. Brokers also use different symbol names, contract sizes and trading conditions.
This version is offered as Beta / Early Access. The EA functionality is implemented, but the trading strategy still needs broad evaluation across different market periods, symbols and timeframes.
The EA can technically be operated from around €100. On small accounts, minimum lot size, margin or contract size may prevent individual signals from being traded.
Yes. With percentage-based money management, the monetary risk is calculated from the current balance. As the account grows, the calculated position size can increase. If the balance falls, the absolute risk is reduced accordingly.
No. The EA does not force a fixed daily profit. Daily targets and loss limits are risk-management controls and can scale with the account.
Technically, the EA is designed for multiple asset classes. However, every symbol must be tested separately because volatility, spread, contract size and market behavior differ.
The public page explains functionality and the risk concept. The exact entry logic, internal thresholds and default parameters are included in the full product documentation for customers.
No. The current version is explicitly offered as Beta / Early Access. Extensive backtests and forward tests are part of the ongoing evaluation.
